It doesn't matter if you're an artist or not. All are welcome.
WHAT IS IT? The Mega Timeline is an original, large scale, physical, visual arts timeline covering 5,000 years of human history. The physical work is massive (more than 150 feet long!), with hundreds of hand-made portraits of remarkable people from the history of the study of human flourishing.
WHAT'S IT FOR? The Mega Timeline teaches that humans alive now are connected to thousands of years of human inquiry, asking "What does it mean to live a good life?" and "How can we live harmoniously together?"
WHY NOW? Many people are learning of flourishing and human flourishing for the first time, even though it is arguably the most important concept for living together harmoniously on our planet. The timeline illustrates the magnitude of the legacy that we get to expand on, if we are willing to look back and acknowledge those who came before us.
WHY THIS MATTERS: There is nothing more beautiful or satisfying than flourishing. We are in a time of great transformation, decay, dislocation, and renaissance. The Mega Timeline brings everyone together to experience the glory of millennia of life flourishing on Earth.
