People have requested the recipe, but my mom swore me to secrecy years ago. I bake these cakes in my great-grandmother's cast-iron pan — the very one she used in the 1950's and '60's!

Ingredients: wheat flour, eggs, sugar, sunflower oil, pineapple, Italian cherries, butter, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt.
